Plantar Fasciitis
In August 2011, 42-year old female came to me and complained of plantar fasciitis of the left foot. The onset originated a year ago and her pain level of 6 would be aggravated by walking.

Plantar fasciitis occurs when the thick band of tissue along the bottom of the foot becomes irritated or inflamed. This often leads to sharp heel pain, especially with the first steps in the morning or after long periods of standing.
Acupuncture helps reduce inflammation in the fascia, relax tight muscles in the foot and calf, and support healthier movement patterns. With consistent care, many patients experience steadier, more comfortable walking and fewer flare‑ups.
