Client Complaint
A 42-year old female visited our clinic and complained of facial pain and numbness due to Bell’s Palsy. There were also other signs and symptoms which included dizziness, pain in the left ear canal and achiness in the elbow, wrist and knee joints. She also felt stressed at work, and was unable to close her left eye when sleeping.
Results
After 2 sessions of acupuncture therapy, she began to have sensations in the affected area of the face. After 15 sessions, she experience 80% improvement of all her initial complaints. We followed-up with her condition and she reported that many of the symptoms were gone except for the lower half of the left lip which did not regain function.
