Client Complaint
I recently slipped and fell and injured myself, but didn't think much of the fall; I felt a little sore but nothing really bad. Two days later I was unable to get out of bed and I was in so much pain with any kind of movement. I was unable to walk and had to use a wheel chair to see my primary family doctor where I had x-rays of the area in my back. I was diagnosed with a bruised rib as a result from my fall which would heal in 6 to 8 weeks and was prescribed Vicodin for sever pain and to take a week off work.
I knew the Vicodin would only mask the pain temporarily and not heal the injury or relieve me of pain. I was very reluctant and didn't want to take Vicodin for the pain, so I immediately made an appointment to be treated by Dr. Rouhani.
The first day she saw me it was difficult for me to walk or even to try to extend my arm. the slightest movement caused me sever pain. I was unable to drive. I had to be driven and helped in and out of the car. My pain level from a scale from 1-10, I was at "15". Yes! I was in that much pain. I was treated that evening and I immediately felt relief.
After my second visit a few days later, I was now on a pain scale from 1-10 at a "7". I still was unable to drive myself but it was easier to get in and out of the car was not a problem.
It was only 4 days later my pain was gone...I am so happy with my results that I've been sharing with my family and friends the wonderful benefits of acupuncture and to seek alternative medicine. It truly does work.
